Enrollment is offered across two closely related areas of study: rāga training and expressive vocal forms.
Together, they provide paths for students to deepen both their technical grounding and their expressive voice.
Each course is available in one or more formats, depending on its structure and level of study.
Course Enrollment Options
These courses are designed for students who wish to deepen their connection to classical and semi-classical vocal music through focused guidance.
Students can choose from Rāga at Beginner and Intermediate levels, Sufi–Kaafi, Thumri, and Ghazal, with both Self-Study and Full Course options available
Live sessions are announced in advance and scheduled at rotating times to support students in different regions. If you can’t attend a session live, you can continue with the self-study lessons and watch the recording later..
All courses are taught by Ustad Shafqat Ali Khan through a lineage-based approach that emphasizes clarity of rāga, disciplined riyaaz, and steady musical development over time.
October Live Classes
Live classes are scheduled for three Sundays: October 11, October 18, and October 25, 2026.
UK and European clocks change on October 25. UK/Europe times are one hour earlier on October 25 than on October 11 and 18. Pakistan, Pacific, and Eastern times stay the same across these three Sundays.

Pakistan: Sufi–Kaafi begins Sunday night and finishes after midnight on Monday. Ghazal takes place early Monday morning. India (IST): Sufi–Kaafi is 12:15–1:15 AM Monday, and Ghazal is 1:30–2:30 AM Monday. India is 30 minutes ahead of Pakistan. The booking page will show the class time in your own time zone.
