Rāga Vocal Training
Learn rāga through guided practice
and demonstration with Ustad Shafqat Ali Khan
Overview
Rāga lies at the heart of classical vocal music. In these courses, students learn by singing, listening, and following Ustad Shafqat Ali Khan’s demonstrations.
The training helps students understand how a rāga moves, how phrases are shaped, and how expression develops within the rāga.
This page introduces two levels of study: Beginning Rāga and Intermediate Rāga. Together, they give students a clear path for building vocal control and developing a deeper understanding of rāga.
